[Edaily Reporter Shin Ha-yeon ] #DMS announced on the 6th that it has signed a 41.3 billion won contract with Chinese display manufacturer HKC to supply display equipment.

The contract value represents approximately 27% of last year’s revenue. The equipment will be installed at HKC’s 6th-generation LCD plant (H7 Line), currently under construction in Mianyang City, Sichuan Province, China.

DMS supplies wet processing equipment required for the entire display manufacturing process, including cleaning, developing, stripping, and etching. Through this contract, the company has added to its track record of supplying major Chinese panel manufacturers and expanded its presence in the local market.

Notably, the company secured this major contract with HKC following the signing of a 67.7 billion won contract last month with CS CORPORATION, a major Chinese panel manufacturer, to supply OLED manufacturing equipment. With consecutive order wins in both the LCD and OLED sectors, expectations for improved performance in the second half of the year are growing.

A DMS official stated, “Amid a recent surge in equipment orders from Chinese display manufacturers, we have secured consecutive orders from major clients,” adding, “Based on the process technology we have accumulated in the display equipment business, we will expand into new areas such as semiconductor glass substrate equipment and OLEDoS equipment to secure growth momentum for the medium to long term.”
