◇“Jeju MICE Industry Expo” Runs Through the 10th
The Jeju MICE Industry Expo, “Icon in Jeju 2026,” opened on the 8th and runs through the 10th. Organized by the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province and the Jeju Tourism Organization, this B2B event aims to raise the region’s profile as a venue for international events by showcasing its pristine natural environment, cultural assets, and health and wellness resources. Held at unique meeting venues such as Haevichi Hotel & Resort, Aqua Planet, Dol Culture Park, and Jeju Folk Village, the event will bring together 55 local MICE companies and 88 domestic and international buyers.

◇InCruit Launches “MICE Company Special Section”
The Korea MICE Association has launched the “MICE Company Special Section” on Incruit, a real-time job recruitment site. This service consolidates recruitment information across various MICE sectors—including event planning, facilities, services, technology, organizers, and related organizations—in one place, enhancing accessibility and convenience for both employers and job seekers. Association member companies that are also Incruit corporate members can use the section to access recruitment support services free of charge, ranging from job postings to tailored advertising for the selection process and AI (artificial intelligence) personality assessments.

◇“Exhibition Industry College Student Competition” Open Until the 21st
The Korea Exhibition Industry Promotion Association is hosting the “Exhibition Industry College Student Competition.” Teams of 3–4 members have until the 21st of this month to propose marketing strategies that boost the buzz around exhibitions, based on the theme “Exhibitions: Becoming a Hot Spot for the 2030 Generation.” The Grand Prize (1 team) will receive the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Award and a cash prize of 3 million won; the Excellence Awards (2 teams) will receive the Association President’s Award and a cash prize of 2 million won; and the Encouragement Awards (2 teams) will receive the Incheon Tourism Organization President’s Award and a cash prize of 1 million won.
