“I’ll Forget Your Face Completely” is Lee So-ra’s first official new single in about seven years, following her 2019 release “Request Song,” which featured BTS member Suga. This new song was composed by Choi Jeong-hoon of Jannabi, and Lee So-ra wrote the lyrics herself. Jo Gyu-chan served as vocal director to support Lee So-ra’s comeback, while Jeong Ji-chan oversaw the overall music production process. A representative from her agency, Marehim Entertainment, explained, “A special collaboration came about when Lee So-ra commissioned Choi Jeong-hoon, whom she had been keeping an eye on for some time.” The representative added, “It’s a refreshing yet heartfelt song that depicts the air of a summer night, imbued with a gentle warmth, and the love story unfolding within it, much like a movie.” The new song will be released at 6 p.m. today on various online music platforms. Lee So-ra shared her thoughts on the comeback, saying, “I didn’t realize so much time had passed,” and added, “I’m sincerely grateful to the fans who haven’t forgotten me and have waited for my music all this time, as well as to everyone who contributed to this project.”
