A key feature of this revamp is that it integrates the entire process—from booking to payment and exploring travel information—into a single platform. The company explained that it focused on simplifying the booking process and improving the user experience on its official channels so that customers can plan their trips more easily and intuitively.
HotelShilla is introducing a new “Experiences” section. It offers a curated selection of experiential programs operated by each hotel and local attractions near the hotels, allowing customers to explore not only the hotels but also local experiences.
Customer convenience features have also been enhanced. The company has introduced an “Integrated Booking Bar” that allows reservations with minimal clicks, a “Price Calendar” that lets users compare room rates for their desired dates at a glance, and a “Pre-payment” feature that reduces wait times on the day of check-in.
Exclusive discount packages available only on the official website have also been launched for Shilla Rewards members. Customers can take advantage of rates and benefits offered exclusively through official channels.
The company is also revamping its integrated paid membership program, “Shilla S.” The program has been subdivided from the previous two tiers—Black and Brown—into three tiers: Prestige, Signature, and Select. To address the previous situation where membership prices were split between 750,000 won and 5 million won, a new mid-tier option in the 3.5 million won range has been added.
To celebrate the website and app relaunch, HotelShilla is running a “Grand Renewal” promotion through the 31st of next month. Customers who book a room through the official website or app and complete their stay will be entered into a drawing to win prizes, including a total of 22 nights’ accommodation at HotelShilla’s 22 properties worldwide.
Additionally, the company is launching a “Website Review” event offering the new paid membership “Shilla S Signature” as a prize, as well as a “Renewal Commemorative Package” that doubles the number of stays credited toward membership tier calculations.
HotelShilla spokesperson stated, “This overhaul is a strategic change aimed at enhancing customer convenience while strengthening the competitiveness of our official channels,” adding, “We plan to continue expanding premium services and personalized customer experiences through our official channels in the future.”
