SBS’s new Friday-Saturday drama “Chaebol X Detective 2,” which premieres on the 7th of next month, is a lighthearted, refreshing, and exhilarating investigative drama featuring chaebol detective Jin Yi-su—who uses his wealth to turn the tables when investigations hit a dead end—and his new team leader, Ju Hye-ra. The stills released on the 7th feature Joo Hye-ra (played by Jung Eun-chae), the new investigative partner of the one-of-a-kind chaebol detective Jin Yi-su (played by Ahn Bo-hyun).
Joo Hye-ra, a former ace of the National Police Agency’s Counter-Terrorism Unit, volunteered to become the head of the Violent Crimes Unit 1 at Gangha Police Station, making her Jin Yi-soo’s direct superior. Anticipation is high to see what kind of teamwork and chemistry “Devil Instructor” Joo Hye-ra—who once gave Jin Yi-soo, her trainee during her time as a police academy instructor, a hard time—will display now that they’ve reunited as investigative partners.
Jeong Eun-chae appears to have perfectly embodied the role of a veteran detective on the Major Crimes Unit. The sight of Jeong Eun-chae stepping off a motorcycle in her neat police uniform exudes a presence rivaling that of a chaebol detective who commutes to work in a supercar.

It is reported that “Chaebol X Detective 2” has once again brought together Director Kim Jae-hong and Writer Kim Ba-da—who handled the direction and screenplay for Season 1—to build a solid world-building framework.
