[E-Daily KYUNG GYEYOUNG Reporter] LG H&H solidified its foothold in the North American market by posting sales growth in its functional beauty product line during Amazon Prime Day.
According to LG H&H(051900)on the 7th, during the North American Amazon Prime Day held from the 23rd to the 26th of last month by Amazon, the largest e-commerce platform in the U.S., sales of Dr. Groot and Euthymol increased by 45.9% and 54.3%, respectively, compared to last year’s event.
LG H&H analyzed that this growth was largely driven by its approach of offering problem-solving solutions to consumer concerns such as teeth whitening and hair loss.
Dr. Groot’s “Hair Thickening Shampoo” and “Miracle-in-Shower Moisturizing Treatment” ranked second in sales in their respective categories. Yusimol’s whitening toothpastes, such as “Purple Whitening,” also ranked among the top sellers in their respective categories. REACH’s dental floss and interdental brushes also entered the top ranks in the “dental floss” category, demonstrating growth potential in the oral care sector.
In addition, CNP’s “Lip Serum,” a derma-cosmetic brand, took the top spot in sales in the lip butter category, and Belif’s best-selling “Aqua Balm” as well as its “Frozen Cream” garnered attention from North American customers. Products such as The Face Shop’s “Miga-su Cleansing Wipes” and Physiogel’s “Red Soothing Cream” also ranked among the top sellers, expanding the portfolio of products that are well-received in the North American market.
An LG H&H official stated, “We focused on expanding our touchpoints with North American customers by combining the functional strengths of our products with ‘Full-Funnel’ marketing, which manages the process of turning customers into loyal customers from the initial awareness stage,” adding, “We will continue to build on our success in the global e-commerce market by refining our product lineup and marketing strategies based on customer data and category analysis.”
