AI Korea Co., Ltd. announced on the 7th that it has signed a trust agreement with NH INVESTMENT & SECURITIES for the acquisition of treasury stock, aiming to enhance shareholder value and strengthen responsible management. Under this agreement, the company plans to acquire 552,193 common shares (based on the closing price on July 3), and the contract period is six months, from July 6, 2026, to January 5, 2027. The company plans to proceed with purchases flexibly during this period, taking into account market conditions and stock price trends.
The decision to acquire treasury stock was made based on confidence in the company’s mid- to long-term growth potential and corporate value, and as part of efforts to strengthen shareholder-friendly management in line with the government’s recent policies aimed at modernizing the capital market and enhancing corporate value. Management explained that this decision also reflected their assessment that the current stock price is undervalued relative to the company’s intrinsic value.
AI Korea Co., Ltd. continues to maintain stable growth based on its industrial infrastructure business, which includes central electrolyte supply systems (CESS) for rechargeable batteries, as well as piping and ductwork. In particular, CESS—a core piece of equipment in the rechargeable battery production process—has established itself as a key growth driver for the company as it expands supplies to global customers, including South Korea’s top three battery manufacturers.
The company is also accelerating efforts to secure new growth drivers. It is actively pursuing new business ventures, including liquid cooling solutions for AI data centers, logistics automation using manned and unmanned forklifts, and 3D vision-based automated mixed palletizing solutions. In fact, the company secured its first reference in the logistics automation sector by supplying a 3D vision-based recognition solution applied to the mixed palletizing process for a production plant automation project at a major domestic food conglomerate, overseen by LG Corp.
AI Korea Co., Ltd. plans to use this as a springboard to expand its scope of application to various industrial sites, such as manufacturing plants and logistics centers. Discussions are also underway regarding the additional implementation of related solutions, and the company expects the contribution of these new businesses to revenue to gradually increase. The company believes that by adding new growth engines—such as AI data centers and logistics automation—to the stable performance of its existing core businesses, it will be able to enhance corporate value through mid- to long-term revenue growth and improved profitability.
AI Korea Co., Ltd. official stated, “This trust agreement for the acquisition of treasury stock reflects our assessment that the current stock price is undervalued relative to the company’s intrinsic value, as well as our confidence in medium- to long-term growth,” adding, “We will simultaneously boost both earnings and corporate value through the stable growth of our core businesses and the expansion of AI-based new businesses.”
