Khalid, whose primary genres include R&B, electropop, and synthpop, has gained popularity since his official debut in 2016 with songs such as “Location,” “Better,” “Talk,” “My Bad,” and “Saturday Nights.” With his second studio album, *Free Spirit*, released in 2019, he topped the Billboard 200, the main album chart, and was named one of *Time* magazine’s “100 Most Influential People” that same year. To date, Khalid has been nominated for seven Grammy Awards and has won six Billboard Music Awards and four American Music Awards.
