For the past six years, KT Alpha has consistently carried out donation activities in partnership with the KTCorporation Hope Sharing Foundation (Chairman Im Jong-taek) and local welfare centers to promote mutual growth within the community and improve the welfare of vulnerable groups. Over the years, the company has spread warmth by donating rice and fruit sets for holidays, nourishing meals to prepare for the summer heat, and winter bedding sets to prepare for the coldest months.

Following last year’s event, this year’s initiative was organized in partnership with the Heukseok Comprehensive Social Welfare Center in Dongjak-gu, Seoul—where KTCorporation’s headquarters is located—to prepare 200 sets of kimchi, consisting of young radish kimchi and napa cabbage kimchi, to alleviate the financial burden of summer food expenses for vulnerable residents.

An official from the Heukseok Comprehensive Social Welfare Center stated, “As the positive impact created by companies spreads, it will bring hope and warmth to those in need and foster positive change in the local community.”

Meanwhile, KTCorporation Alpha continues to carry out various social contribution activities, including efforts to reduce gaps in local welfare coverage and cultural support for future generations, such as children and adolescents.
