BXCode Agent is an AI coding solution based on “Vibe Coding,” a technology that has recently garnered attention in the generative AI field. When users input the desired functions or tasks in natural language, the AI assists with code generation, modification, refactoring, verification, and testing.
When a developer issues a task, the AI analyzes the project structure and relevant code to plan the task and then autonomously performs code editing and verification.
Like Claude Code, a global AI coding tool, BXCode Agent can be used via a command-line interface (CLI) and supports plugins for Eclipse and Visual Studio Code (VS Code). It also offers a web-based service for users unfamiliar with development environments.
The company cited its “Harness Engineering” technology—which enables enterprises to control and utilize AI in the way they desire—as a key differentiator. Enterprises can directly manage the reference materials, tools, and permissions the AI uses, and can register internal documents and development standards to configure the AI to provide responses based on the company’s internal knowledge.
BXCode Agent was developed based on AI coding support experience validated in major financial sector projects in Korea. The company explained that it has enhanced the product into a customizable, autonomous code agent for enterprises by incorporating the financial sector’s security and control requirements, as well as development standards.
Bankware Global Co., Ltd. representative stated, “BXCode Agent is characterized by its structure that allows companies to directly control and manage the tool while providing usability on par with global AI coding tools,” adding, “We will lead the market for autonomous code agents optimized for the domestic corporate environment and continue to develop this AI software, which is regarded as the ‘Korean version of Claude Code.’”
Meanwhile, Bankware Global Co., Ltd. is expanding its lineup of AI solutions for the financial sector by introducing BX Code Assistant and BXCode Agent, following the launch of its financial sector AI security gateway solution, “BX Guard Bridge,” on the 1st.
