[E-Daily Reporter Shin Ha-yeon ] JEIO(418550) , a company specializing in carbon nanotubes (CNT), is expanding into new business areas by unveiling next-generation rechargeable battery materials and advanced materials equipment at the Nano Convergence Industry Exhibition.
JEIO announced on the 8th that it will participate in “Nano Korea 2026,” taking place from the 8th to the 10th at KINTEX in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, to showcase high-efficiency LFP (lithium iron phosphate) dispersants and advanced materials equipment. The event showcases the latest technologies and products in cutting-edge industries, including nanomaterials, semiconductors, rechargeable batteries, biotechnology, and medical devices.
At this exhibition, JEIO will unveil a high-efficiency LFP dispersant that enhances the performance of LFP batteries. This material helps improve energy density by addressing issues such as reduced electron mobility, cracking, and concentration polarization caused by increased electrode thickness. The company explained that, as the world’s only non-Chinese LFP dispersant, it offers superior performance and stability compared to existing Chinese products.
JEIO filed a trademark application for its LFP dispersant brand, “JENODM,” earlier this year and is currently expanding supply collaborations and partnerships with global rechargeable battery manufacturers and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). The company noted that it has received positive feedback on product performance from numerous clients.
The company is also introducing its advanced materials equipment business. Building on its expertise in plant engineering and battery materials technology, JEIO is expanding its business scope by developing equipment such as dry dispersion systems for CNT conductive fillers, solid electrolyte grinders, active material mixing and coating equipment, and mixing-drying machines that simultaneously perform mixing, drying, and heat treatment.
Following the start of equipment supply to global rechargeable battery and defense companies last year, the company is broadening its business base this year by expanding supply to numerous rechargeable battery material companies.
Diversification of its customer base is also gaining momentum in its existing CNT business. Starting this year, the company has begun supplying CNTs to new global customers, including Chinese rechargeable battery manufacturers, to expand its revenue base.
JEIO officials stated, “We began supplying CNTs to new global customers this year,” adding, “2026 will be a year of renewed growth, as we diversify our CNT customer base and fully launch new businesses—such as LFP dispersants and advanced materials equipment—to expand our global customer network and diversify our operations.”
