[E-Daily Reporter An Yu-ri ] Lee Dong-beom, CEO of GENIANS, INC.(263860), was awarded the Pomegranate Medal of the Order of Civil Merit, a government honor, at the “15th Information Security Day Commemoration Ceremony” on the 8th.
CEO Lee Dong-beom was selected to receive this medal in recognition of his key contributions to the development of the domestic information security market, including achieving import substitution through domestically developed security technologies and strengthening the security levels of key national facilities.

(Photo:An Yu-ri ) Since founding GENIANS, INC. in 2005, CEO Lee has developed and supplied security solutions based on purely domestic technologies, such as NAC, EDR, and ZTN. The company achieved annual revenue of 48.4 billion won in 2025 and has maintained profitability for 21 consecutive years since its founding.
He has also been dedicated to strengthening the capabilities of the domestic information security industry as a whole. During his four-year tenure as the 15th and 16th Chairman of the Korea Information Security Industry Association (KISIA), he served as a liaison between the government and the industry and contributed to regulatory relaxation and institutional improvements.
The company has also continued its efforts toward national cybersecurity and social responsibility. Not only has it supplied NAC solutions to key national institutions to strengthen their internal security systems, but it has also developed software for security inspections during the “Cybersecurity Diagnosis Day” for public institutions and provided it free of charge to public and educational institutions nationwide.
Furthermore, GENIANS, INC. has been designated as a “Strong Small Enterprise” by the Ministry of Employment and Labor through its annual recruitment of new employees at a rate of approximately 10 percent, and it continues to strive to cultivate practical cybersecurity talent through joint research projects and internship programs with major universities.
