Strengthening the Role of a “Welfare Platform” Based on Local Channels
KTCorporation HCN is participating as the lead organizer overseeing the council’s operations and will serve as a media platform to produce and promote broadcast content addressing local welfare issues and the activities of each institution. Through this, the company plans to effectively convey the on-site activities of welfare institutions and necessary welfare information to residents within the local community, while supporting the continued implementation of collaborative welfare projects.
Participating organizations will share welfare needs identified in the field and issues facing vulnerable groups, and develop joint programs tailored to local characteristics. The council plans to hold an annual meeting of a delegation led by organization heads and bimonthly working-level meetings led by mid-level managers to maintain an ongoing cooperation system rather than limiting the initiative to a one-time agreement.
A KTCorporation HCN official stated, “Through cooperation with local welfare organizations, we will contribute to eliminating gaps in welfare coverage and resolving local community issues, and we will continue to provide residents with essential public interest information via our local channels.”
