[E-Daily Reporter Kwon Oh Seok ] #Acryl Inc. is accelerating its push into the mental health artificial intelligence (AI) market. Acryl Inc. announced on the 9th that “ADA,” its mental health AI model based on “Arum.H (ALLM.H)”—a medical-specific foundation model developed in-house—has outperformed all previous state-of-the-art (SOTA) results across 15 global mental health and emotional analysis benchmarks.

This achievement is significant because it demonstrates the ability to solve various tasks simultaneously using a single model. Previously, it was common to build separate models for each task—such as depression, suicide risk, and stress—but Acryl Inc. has secured a performance advantage across all areas with a single generative model based on ALLM.H.
In particular, on the depression detection benchmark “HelaDepDet,” it recorded a performance 8.18 points higher than the previous best. It also demonstrated competitiveness in key metrics such as depression detection, suicide risk analysis, and emotion understanding.
Its performance in Korean has also been confirmed. Aida broke records on domestic sentiment analysis benchmarks such as “KEmoFact” and “KOTE.” Based on these results, the company plans to expand its application to medical institutions, the public sector, and the counseling field.
Aida is distinguished by its ability to go beyond simple classification; as a generative AI, it can present the causes of emotions, risk factors, and the basis for its judgments. It can be used to detect early warning signs in scenarios such as counseling intake, remote counseling, and electronic health record (EHR) analysis.
Acryl Inc. is also pursuing commercialization based on its technological capabilities. It secured Korea’s first regulatory approval for a depression diagnostic device and is now moving forward with the commercialization of healthcare AI based on this achievement.
The company is also expanding overseas. It is working to export its systems to a health screening center in Malaysia and the National Mental Health Center in Mongolia, with the goal of securing global references.
Park Oe-jin, CEO of Acryl Inc., stated, “Demonstrating performance across multiple benchmarks with a single foundation model is a testament to our technological competitiveness,” adding, “We will fully launch our push into the global healthcare market by integrating our hospital AX platform with LLMOps infrastructure.”
Acryl Inc. plans to expand its mental health diagnosis, emotion analysis, and hospital digital transformation (AX) businesses in the future, focusing on AI specialized for the medical and healthcare sectors.
