“It’s Not About the Affair” is a runaway black comedy about a chain reaction of chaos that ensues when a popular influencer couple—who have long marketed their happy family image—and a neighboring doctor couple—currently embroiled in a messy divorce battle—become entangled in an unbearable secret that makes even an affair seem trivial.
Jo Yeo-jeong, a premier actress who has showcased limitless transformations in every project—including *Made in Korea*, *The Murderer’s Report*, and *Zombie Daughter*—captivates viewers with an aura that blends elegance and a chilling intensity. In the first still, “Su-jeong” exudes the dignified poise befitting a dermatology clinic director, embodying the epitome of the upper class.
In contrast, the following still shows her staring intently at someone with a sharp gaze hidden beneath her elegance, leaving viewers breathless. It heightens anticipation for the decision “Su-jeong” will make to protect her only daughter amid a messy divorce battle.
Kim Jae-cheol, who has left a strong impression in works such as “Annoying Love” and “Exhumation,” takes on the role of “Bo-sung,” “Su-jeong’s” ex-husband, and is set to double the tension of the series. Though “Bo-sung” wears a neat suit and sports a gentle smile, his gaze and behavior—which conceal much beneath the surface—pique the viewer’s curiosity.
