[Edaily Starin YUN GI BACK Reporter] The band Wave Tours (wave to earth) has heightened anticipation for their comeback with a pre-release video offering a glimpse into the vibe of their new album.

On the 10th, Wave Tours released the pre-release video for “Babo” via their official social media accounts and YouTube channel, ahead of the August 7 release of their new album, “Bad Pieces.”
The video features member Kim Daniel playing the guitar against the backdrop of the ocean at sunset. The gentle string sounds blend with the sunset-hued scenery to create Wave to Earth’s signature lyrical and dreamlike atmosphere, leaving a deep impression even through silhouettes alone and heightening curiosity about the new album.
Among fans, speculation is mounting that the music featured in the video is a new version of the unreleased track “Hyang,” which was performed at the “Seoul Jazz Festival 2026” last May and during a busking performance in Singapore last June. Anticipation for the official release of the track is also growing.
“Bad Pieces” is a project inspired by “Bed Peace,” the peace performance staged by John Lennon and Yoko Ono in 1969. With this album, Wave Tours plans to showcase a new musical direction through innovative instrumentation and sound design.
Following the album’s release, the band will embark on a world tour titled “The Pieces Tour.” They will hold a total of 30 concerts across 21 cities in North America and 8 cities in Asia, including Seoul, and will take the stage at iconic U.S. venues such as Radio City Music Hall and The Greek Theatre to meet with fans worldwide.
