[Edaily Starin Choi Hee-jae Reporter] The group KiiiKiii has announced a comeback next month. KiiiKiii (Photo courtesy of Starship Entertainment) On the 11th, their agency, Starship Entertainment, announced, “KiiiKiii is aiming for a comeback in mid-August.” They added, “As many people, including Tiki (the official fan club name), are looking forward to it, we are accelerating our preparations to present music that is both fresh and true to KiiiKiii’s style.” This comeback comes approximately seven months after the release of their second mini-album, “Delulu Pack,” in January. “Delulu Pack” achieved remarkable success in both domestic and international music markets upon its release, firmly establishing KiiiKiii’s presence. The title track “404 (New Era)” topped the Melon Hot 100 chart and the Bugs Real-Time Chart, while also climbing rapidly on major domestic music charts such as Genie, FLO, Vibe, YouTube Music, and Spotify Korea. On Apple Music Korea, it consistently held the No. 1 spot on the Top Songs, Top Videos, and Top Albums charts for consecutive days, proving its solid popularity. In particular, “404 (New Era)” continued its steady success, not only reaching No. 1 on the Melon Top 100 chart for the first time since their debut but also topping both the Circle Chart’s Monthly Digital Chart and Streaming Chart, achieving a double victory. Along with this, Kiki set a meaningful record by securing their first-ever No. 1 spot on a monthly chart since their debut, further solidifying their standing. The response overseas was also enthusiastic. “Delulu Pack” entered the iTunes K-Pop Top Albums charts in 19 countries and regions worldwide and remained on the U.S. Billboard “Global (Excl. U.S.)” chart for eight consecutive weeks. Furthermore, they achieved the milestone of entering the “Billboard Global 200” chart for the first time since their debut and made their presence felt on various Billboard Japan charts, including “Hot Albums,” “Artist 100,” and “Hitseekers Songs.” Subsequently, they peaked at No. 2 on Japan’s Oricon Weekly Streaming Rising Chart, and on China’s QQ Music, they not only simultaneously claimed the No. 1 and No. 2 spots on the Rising Chart but also demonstrated their strength by having every track from the album enter the Top 10. Through their approximately four-week-long music show promotions for “404 (New Era),” KIKI achieved a triple crown on music shows and further solidified the group’s unique identity by showcasing their signature free-spirited energy and “Gen Z charm.” In particular, their highly addictive performance sparked numerous challenges and took over short-form video platforms both domestically and internationally. Buoyed by this support, Kiki expanded the scope of their activities by following up with promotions for the track “Delulu,” proving their appeal to the masses and their ability to generate buzz. Having demonstrated a broader musical spectrum and a distinctive group identity through their previous release, “Delulu Pack,” all eyes are now on what kind of music and performances Kiki will present in their upcoming album. Kiki met with fans on May 16–17 by hosting their first-ever fan concert, “Kiki Festival.” They also performed “Go On,” a track from the OST for the MBC Friday-Saturday drama *The Great Lady of the 21st Century*. Detailed schedules regarding Kiki’s comeback will be announced via their official social media channels. The group is currently connecting with fans every Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. through Season 2 of their original content series, “Kiki Pang Pang.”
