[E-Daily Starin Choi Hee-jae Reporter] The new drama “Chaebol X Detective 2” has raised anticipation by revealing its lineup of special guest stars.

Premiering on the 7th of next month as the follow-up to “Director Kim,” SBS’s new Friday-Saturday drama “Chaebol X Detective 2” is a lighthearted, refreshing, and exhilarating investigative drama featuring chaebol detective Jin Yi-su—who uses his wealth to turn the tables when investigations hit a dead end—and his new team leader, Joo Hye-ra.
The opening credit teaser video released on the 10th features Ahn Bo-hyun as “Jin Yi-su,” South Korea’s one-and-only chaebol detective; Jung Eun-chae as “Joo Hye-ra,” the new team leader of the Violent Crimes Team 1 at Gangha Police Station; Kang Sang-jun as “Park Jun-young,” a member of the Violent Crimes Team 1 with perfect chemistry; Kim Shin-bi as “Choi Kyung-jin,” and Yoo Seung-ho, who makes a special appearance as “Yoo Seong-won,” a new chaebol character in Season 2—all brought to life with stylish motion graphics that captivate the viewer’s attention.

Along with this, the lineup of special guest stars was revealed, drawing significant attention. First, Kim Eui-sung, who helped kick off Season 1 on a high note with a cameo in the first episode, is set to appear in Season 2 as well, promising to deliver Easter egg-like fun to fans of the “Chaebol X Detective” series.
The lineup is rounded out by Park So-yi, Lee Hak-ju, Choi Deok-mun, Lee Seok, Son Woo-hyun, Heo Seong-tae, Jung Chae-yeon, Jeon Hye-bin, Joo Hyun-young, Min Kyung-ah, and Kim Hye-eun. Curiosity is mounting about which characters they will portray and what roles they will play in “Chaebol X Detective 2.”

“Chaebol X Detective 2” features director Kim Jae-hong and writer Kim Ba-da—who handled the direction and screenplay for Season 1—joining forces once again to build a solid narrative universe.
