Premiering on the 11th, JTBC’s new Saturday-Sunday drama “Apartment” is a down-to-earth human drama that follows Park Hae-gang, the former boss of the Oasis Gang, who runs for the position of residents’ association chairman to get his hands on hidden funds within the apartment complex, as he works with the residents to root out corruption.
In this episode, “Lizard” (played by Kim Won-hae), a VIP at a gambling den who finds himself in a desperate situation, is shown causing a commotion. Lizard roughly shoves away “Big Dung” (played by Kim Kyu-won), who tries to restrain him, and runs amok by scattering playing cards into the air.
At that moment, Park Hae-gang (played by Ji Sung), the former boss of the Oasis Gang, who had been watching from a distance, steps in to restore order. The tense standoff between “Lizard,” who has turned the gambling den into a chaotic mess, and Park Hae-gang, who has come to resolve the situation, captures the audience’s attention.
“Apartment” tells the story of Park Hae-gang, the former boss of the Oasis Gang, who runs for the position of residents’ association chairman to get his hands on hidden funds within the apartment complex and, together with the residents, works to root out corruption. This is a collaboration between writer Kim Yoon-young, who showcased her solid storytelling skills in *Revenge Is Back*, and director Jo Yong-won, whose stylish direction was recognized with the Best Director Award at the Seoul Drama Awards for *Looking for My Child*.
The series premieres on the 11th at 10:40 p.m.
