The KBS2 episode of “Gag Concert” airing on the 12th will feature the premiere of “Immortal Condolences,” starring Park Sung-kwang, and “4:30 a.m. in Hongdae,” starring Jo Su-yeon, Kim Yeo-woon, Shim Moon-kyu, and Seo Ah-reum.

“Immortal Condolences” is a funeral skit based on the premise that Park Sung-kwang has lost his sense of humor. Hiding behind his portrait, Park Sung-kwang is teased one by one by his fellow comedians, who pretend to offer condolences and pay their respects.

Park Young-jin, appearing as Park Sung-kwang’s friend, weeps bitterly, claiming that his sense of humor has passed away. Junior comedians initially appear concerned about the future of the comedy scene without Park Sung-kwang, but as time goes on, the atmosphere of the funeral takes a turn completely different from what Park Sung-kwang had expected.

One junior comedian claims to have actually coined the catchphrase that Park Sung-kwang believed was his own, while another attempts to open the photo album on Park Sung-kwang’s cell phone. As the “Pandora’s box” containing secrets that must never be revealed is on the verge of being opened, Park Sung-kwang remains on edge even during the funeral.

Lee Soo-kyung’s remarks are also a key moment in the segment. While paying her respects, Lee Soo-kyung brings up an unexpected topic that turns the funeral hall upside down. Eventually, Park Sung-kwang, who had been watching the situation from behind the portrait, can’t hold back any longer and steps into the spotlight. The content of Lee Soo-kyung’s remarks—which brought Park Sung-kwang back to life—will be revealed on the broadcast.

Another new segment, “Hongdae at 4:30 a.m.,” is a skit featuring young people who believe they’re more likely to meet someone new in the early morning than late at night. Jo Su-yeon and Seo Ah-reum look forward to meeting potential partners in Hongdae, while Kim Yeo-woon and Shim Moon-kyu appear as the men they encounter.

The contrast between Kim Yeo-woon, who is completely drunk, and her friend Shim Moon-kyu, who remains sober and observes the situation, is the source of the humor. The segment comically portrays the encounters that take place in Hongdae at dawn by highlighting the difference between the two men’s behavior while intoxicated and their reactions once they’ve sobered up.

“Gag Concert,” which will premiere two new segments, airs today at 10:35 p.m.
