[Edaily Reporter Shin Yeong-bin ] #Sena Technologies Co., Ltd. posted its highest-ever quarterly revenue and operating profit in the second quarter of this year. Growth across all product lines—including motorcycles, cycling, and outdoor gear—along with improved profitability driven by high-value-added products, drove these results.

Sena Technologies Co., Ltd. announced on the 13th that it recorded preliminary consolidated revenue of 75.5 billion won and operating profit of 18.0 billion won for the second quarter of this year. Compared to the same period last year, revenue increased by approximately 40% and operating profit by approximately 128%.

Net income rose by approximately 127% year-over-year to 14.8 billion won. The net profit margin stood at approximately 20%.

Cumulative revenue for the first half of the year totaled 119.3 billion won, while cumulative operating profit reached 21.8 billion won.

Profitability metrics also reached record highs for a single quarter. The gross profit margin for the second quarter was approximately 51%, and the operating profit margin was approximately 24%. The gross profit margin rose by more than 3.6 percentage points compared to the first quarter.

Sena explained that although its global workforce increased by about 80 employees compared to the same period last year and global marketing expenses rose by approximately 205%, the increase in costs was offset by revenue growth and improvements in the product mix.

By product category, the motorcycle division recorded sales of 64.2 billion won, an increase of about 40% compared to the same period last year. The team communication product line for motorcycles grew by about 40%, and the smart helmet product line grew by about 75%.

Revenue for the cycling and outdoor mesh communication product line reached 7.4 billion won, an increase of about 58% compared to the same period last year. The marine sports mesh communication product line grew by about 111%.

Sales of the industrial field product line—which the company is cultivating as a next-generation growth engine—reached 3.1 billion won, an increase of approximately 28% compared to the same period last year.

Sena forecasts that this growth trend will continue in the second half of the year. The company explained that additional profit improvement is possible once the ongoing tariff refunds from the U.S. are reflected in its financial results. It also expects demand for its core product lines to continue during the third quarter, which is the seasonal peak period.

A Sena official stated, “We recorded our highest-ever sales and profit margins even after absorbing preemptive investments, such as increases in labor and marketing costs,” adding, “We will continue our growth momentum in the second half of the year based on product supply to global big tech companies, expansion of the industrial workgroup communications market, U.S. tariff refunds, and the peak season effect.”
