The members of the girl group LE SSERAFIM (Kim Chae-won, Sakura, Heo Yoon-jin, Kazuha, Hong Eun-chae) walked confidently onto the stage, which was filled with floating flower petals, as if strutting down a runway, and the audience—packed with “FEARNOT” (their fan club name)—greeted them with thunderous cheers. It was the moment LE SSERAFIM’s new world tour concert “PUREFLOW” kickoff event began.

◇A New Chapter Begins with a Tour Following Their Second Full-Length Album
LE SSERAFIM, who debuted in 2022, embarked on their first world tour, “EASY CRAZY HOT,” from April of last year through January of this year. Through this tour, they met with fans across 31 shows in 20 cities across 9 countries, including South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, the United States, and Mexico.
Their second tour, “Pureflow,” is scheduled to run through December, with 32 shows across 23 cities in 11 countries. Notably, the tour itinerary includes European destinations—such as the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, France, Denmark, and Germany—for the first time.
LE SSERAFIM released their second full-length album, *Pureflow*, which shares the same name as this tour, last May and have been promoting it ever since. Through this album promotion, they opened the prologue to “LE SSERAFIM Chapter 2,” which they have dubbed “Fearless 2.0.” Having begun their career with their debut song “FEARLESS”—which conveyed the message, “We will move forward fearlessly, unshaken by the world’s gaze”—they delivered a new message with their latest album: “We were able to become stronger precisely because we knew fear.”

During the opening stage that day, where they showcased a runway walk set to the intro track of their second album, LE SSERAFIM displayed the phrase “PUREFLOW runs through us”—meaning “Pureflow flows within us”—on the video screen, once again emphasizing the core message of their new album and tour.
The concert setlist was primarily composed of tracks from their second album. LE SSERAFIM performed a large number of new songs, including the album’s title track “BOOMPALA,” as well as “CELEBRATION,” “Creatures,” “How Can We Get Closer?,” “Trust Exercise,” “Saki,” “Irony,” and “iffy iffy,” bringing the narrative of “PUREFLOW” to life on stage.
The five members interacted with the audience as they moved between the main stage and the extended stage, and added to the visual excitement with a mega-crew performance featuring a large group of dancers. The three-sided LED screen filling the front of the venue moved up and down, continuously creating new spatial effects. The stage design, which changed to match the mood of each song, added variety to the performance.

The highlight of the concert was undoubtedly the performance of the new album’s title track, “Boomfalla.” “Boom Palla” is a Latin house-based track conveying the message of embracing fear rather than avoiding it, and it was created by sampling the hit song “Macarena” by the Spanish duo Los Del Río. The members, alongside 28 dancers, performed a reinterpretation of the “Macarena” choreography, bringing the venue’s energy to a fever pitch.
Kim Chae-won, who had been unable to participate in the comeback activities due to a neck injury, made her return to the stage with this performance. When Kim Chae-won shouted her signature line, “Become my partner,” before singing “Fire in the Belly,” a thunderous roar erupted from the audience. The members also welcomed Kim Chae-won’s return, saying in unison, “We shine brightest when there are five of us.”

◇“A tour created together with ‘Piena’… a stage filled with sincerity”
LE SSERAFIM filled the concert with a rich lineup, interspersing performances of their hit songs such as “Eve, Psyche, and Bluebeard’s Wife,” “HOT,” “Perfect Night,” “EASY,” and “FEARLESS.”
At the end of the concert, the members expressed their gratitude to the fans who joined them at the start of their new tour. Hong Eun-chae said, “To convey the meaning and narrative of our new full-length album to ‘Pieona,’ I immersed myself in the songs and sang them with all my heart,” adding, “I had many worries while preparing for the concert, but I felt happiness that far exceeded those worries. I’ll cherish the memories of seeing all of you for a long time, and I’ll make sure to finish the tour safely and return home in good health.”
Sakura said, “I wanted this performance to feel like watching a movie, and I tried to express new emotions on stage,” adding, “Above all, it was even more meaningful to be able to stand on stage together as the five of us. We’ll keep giving it our all together as a group of five for the rest of the tour.”
Kim Chae-won said, “We prepared with the goal of creating a performance that surpasses our last tour,” and promised, “Through today’s performance, I felt once again that this tour is something we’re creating together with ‘Piena.’ I’ll make sure to finish the tour safely and return without any injuries.”
Heo Yoon-jin said, “Through the last tour, I grew closer to ‘Piena’ and the members, and I came to understand what story we need to convey through our music,” adding, “Let’s continue to create incredible energy together.”
Kazuha expressed her gratitude to the fans, saying, “I was truly happy every moment I made eye contact with ‘Pioneer.’ The reason I stand on stage and the reason I dream bigger are all thanks to ‘Pioneer.’ I hope today remains a happy memory for you all as well.”
The “Pure Flow” Incheon concert, which marked the start of the tour, took place over two days on the 11th and 12th. LE SSERAFIM will continue the tour’s momentum on the 25th and 26th at Osaka Castle Hall in Osaka, Japan.
