[Edaily Reporter Kwon Oh Seok ] HanWool Materials Science, Inc.(091440)’s stock price is surging in early trading. It appears that buying interest is surging following news that its subsidiary has completed the construction of a semiconductor materials production facility and is entering the phase of full-scale mass production and revenue generation.

According to MP Doctor on the 13th, HanWool Materials Science, Inc. is trading at 3,000 won as of 9:04 a.m., up 18.58% from the previous trading day.
Earlier today, HanWool Materials Science, Inc. announced that its subsidiary, KnJ Co., Ltd., had received notification of compliance with the Process Safety Management (PSM) review from the Chungnam Regional Center for the Prevention of Major Industrial Accidents, under the Ministry of Employment and Labor, regarding the manufacturing process for semiconductor and display photoresist materials at its Sejong Campus.
With this PSM approval, JKM has completed all key permits and safety procedures required for commercial production at its Sejong Campus. HanWool Materials Science, Inc.’s semiconductor materials business is also expected to transition from the plant construction and equipment investment phase to the commercialization phase, where actual product production, shipment, and revenue generation are possible.
PSM is not merely a document review but a final safety audit that comprehensively verifies—while actual production facilities are in operation—raw material input, manufacturing process operations, equipment safety, worker training, risk assessment, and emergency response systems. The JKM Sejong Campus is a semiconductor materials production base consisting of eight buildings on a site of approximately 5,470 pyeong within the Jeonui General Industrial Complex in Sejong City.
HanWool Materials Science, Inc. plans to use the start of mass production at the Sejong Campus as an opportunity to contribute to the localization of semiconductor materials and the stabilization of the domestic supply chain, while also fully realigning the company’s business identity to focus on materials science.
