[E-Daily Reporter Kim Se-yeon ] HanSol Group’s electrical and electronic components specialist, HansolTechnics(004710), is set to strengthen its manufacturing competitiveness by reorganizing its global production bases. The strategy involves expanding its existing Asia-centric production system to North America and specializing production functions by region to enhance competitiveness in the automotive electronics business and the global supply chain.

HansolTechnics announced on the 13th that it is entering the North American automotive market by establishing a new subsidiary in Mexico. The establishment of this Mexican subsidiary is a key pillar of this reorganization strategy.
North America is one of the world’s largest automotive markets, with annual vehicle sales of approximately 16 million units, and demand for locally sourced automotive electronics components is steadily growing. Accordingly, HansolTechnics is establishing Mexico as its North American production hub to improve responsiveness to customers and strengthen the competitiveness of its automotive electronics business.
The Mexico subsidiary will primarily produce automotive electronics components such as electronic transmission control units, interior and exterior LEDs, and wireless charging modules. Leveraging its proximity to major North American customers, it is expected to serve as a key production hub that improves logistics efficiency and supply responsiveness.
The company is also pursuing functional specialization at its Asian production hubs. Production of power boards for TVs will be centralized at the Ho Chi Minh City subsidiary in Vietnam. The Thailand subsidiary will operate as a specialized production hub for home appliance components; by redefining the roles of each production hub, the company plans to improve operational efficiency and manufacturing competitiveness.
Through this reorganization of its production hubs, HansolTechnics has expanded its Asia-centric production system to include North America, further strengthening its global supply chain. The company plans to continuously improve manufacturing competitiveness and profitability by enhancing operational efficiency.
