[Edaily Starin KIM HYUNSIK Reporter] Production company Nyeom Nyeom Entertainment announced on the 13th that “If You Love,” the OST for the KBS 2TV weekend drama “I Prescribe Love,” sung by singer Hwang Young-woong, will be released at 6 p.m. on the 14th via various online music platforms.

“If You Love Me” is being released as the final OST for “I Prescribe Love.” Nyam Nyam Entertainment stated, “This song blends Hwang Young-woong’s signature deep tone with his delicate sensibility,” adding, “It will be a song that leaves a lasting impression on the drama.”
Hwang Young-woong gained popularity after appearing on the 2023 MBN trot competition program “Burning Trot Man,” but voluntarily withdrew ahead of the second round of the finals when various allegations—including school bullying, a prior conviction for assault, and dating violence—surfaced.
At the time, Hwang Young-woong released a statement on his social media accounts, saying, “I will not make excuses by claiming these were incidents from my childhood. I will reflect on the past, clear up any misunderstandings, and offer a sincere apology.” However, he added, “I sincerely ask for forgiveness from those who were hurt by my actions. But regarding the stories that are not true, I want to set the record straight—if only for the sake of those who have believed in me.”
Subsequently, in January, Hwang Young-woong’s agency, Golden Voice, issued a statement actively denying the school violence allegations. The agency explained, “Our decision to remain silent rather than issue an immediate clarification regarding the past school violence allegations was not because the allegations were true. It was the singer’s decision, made out of concern that it might harm the public nature of the competition and his fellow artists.”
They continued, “A significant portion of the allegations circulated to date are either maliciously edited or one-sided claims whose facts have not been verified,” asserting, “While there may have been arguments or periods of confusion among friends during his school days, there is no truth to the claims that he persistently bullied a specific individual or engaged in sadistic acts as reported.”
Meanwhile, Nyam Nyam Entertainment stated, “‘If You Love Me’ is a track being released sequentially as the final entry in the existing OST release schedule,” adding, “Hwang Young-woong’s participation as a vocalist was decided with the musical composition in mind.”
