[Edaily Reporter Shin Ha-yeon ] #Curiosis Inc., a company specializing in lab automation, has signed a five-year global supply contract with German global life sciences company M for automated cell imaging products.

Curiosis Inc. announced on the 14th that it has signed a global supply contract with M for automated cell imaging products. The contract was signed on the 12th (KST), and the products to be supplied are new items based on Curiosis Inc.’s live-cell imaging system, the “Celloger Mini Plus.”

Supplies will be distributed to global markets through EMD Millipore, M’s U.S.-based life sciences subsidiary. The contract term is five years, beginning on July 7, 2026, and will automatically renew on an annual basis thereafter. Revenue from the contract is expected to be recognized sequentially based on individual purchase orders (POs) received from countries around the world.

Through this agreement, Company M secures global sales rights for the product. Curiosis Inc. plans to retain the right to continue selling products based on the same intellectual property (IP) under its own brand, thereby expanding both its global distribution network and its own sales channels.

With this agreement, the company has secured an additional global partner in its OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and ODM (Original Design Manufacturer) business segments and anticipates the possibility of expanding the scope of collaboration to other products in the future. The company explained that securing Company M as a client, following its existing global partner Revvity, reaffirms its technological capabilities, mass production capacity, and quality control (QC) system.

Yoon Ho-young, CEO of Curiosis Inc., stated, “It is meaningful to have established a five-year partnership with a global biotech company with a long history.” He added, “This expansion of our global supply chain is the result of combining our differentiated product development capabilities with a mass production system that possesses global competitiveness. We plan to actively respond to global demand by manufacturing products at our Yongin plant, where the expansion was completed in the first half of this year, utilizing its state-of-the-art facilities.”

Meanwhile, Curiosis Inc. is expanding its lab automation business in line with the government’s recent policies to foster synthetic biology and promote the localization of bio-related materials, parts, and equipment. Furthermore, by further refining “Celloger Stack-H”—the world’s first large-scale multi-layer culture vessel monitoring system—the company plans to enter the cell therapy mass production market and pursue additional global OEM and ODM contracts.
