Its cumulative audience count stands at 540,553. “Moana” has been riding a wave of popularity, holding the top spot for six consecutive days since its release on the 8th. The mystery thriller “The Eye,” starring Shin Min-a, is also maintaining its box office momentum. “The Eye” recorded 26,902 viewers, bringing its cumulative total to 1,304,161. Third place went to the Disney-Pixar animated film “Toy Story 5.” It drew 17,731 viewers, bringing its cumulative total to 2,598,048. “Gunchye” took fourth place (6,106 viewers), and “David” took fifth (5,314 viewers). “Hope,” set to open on the 15th, took the top spot in advance ticket sales. As of 8:15 a.m. on the 14th, “Hope” had recorded 467,734 advance ticket sales. Sony Pictures’ “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” set to open on the 29th, is also generating buzz after surpassing 100,895 advance ticket sales.
