This book was conceived as a picture book that can be enjoyed by both children and adult readers. It offers children the courage to face the world and warm comfort, while giving adults a moment to reflect on their past lives and the value of everyday moments, conveying a message of empathy and comfort that bridges generations. This Korean edition includes endorsements from Professor Jeong Jae-seung of the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), broadcaster Oh Sang-jin, and author Kim So-young, helping readers gain a deeper understanding of the book’s message. Furthermore, *The Child of the Stars* is a work familiar to Korean readers through its appearance in the film *Come On, Come On*, starring actor Joaquin Phoenix. In the film, it serves as a symbolic medium connecting the characters’ hearts and leaves a profound impression. DAEKYO previously held a ceremony to mark its 50th anniversary and outlined its direction for evolution toward becoming a 100-year company. The company plans to expand its educational value in areas such as AI- and digital-based future education, senior life care, and cultural content.
