[Edaily Reporter An Yu-ri ] Wemade Max(101730)announced on the 14th that it has made a strategic investment in Red Brick House, a publisher specializing in domestic indie games, and will collaborate with the company to discover promising developers and secure new IPs.

This investment is part of a strategy to expand collaboration with creative development studios and lay the groundwork for long-term growth.

Red Brick House is a publisher specializing in indie games, founded by experts who previously handled indie game discovery, investment, and publishing at NEOWIZ.

It identifies promising domestic and international developers and provides comprehensive support ranging from game development to publishing, global services, IP expansion, and ancillary businesses. Based on a publishing philosophy that respects developers’ creativity and individuality, it is pursuing projects across various genres, including △roguelike shooters, △co-op extraction games, and △action-adventure titles.

Through this investment, Wemade Max plans to expand its collaboration with developers possessing creative development capabilities and to continuously identify game companies with innovative gameplay and competitive edge. Based on this, the company’s strategy is to strengthen a diversified multi-studio growth structure across genres, platforms, and regions, and to further accelerate the expansion of its global game portfolio.

Furthermore, the two companies plan to explore various collaboration opportunities throughout the entire process—from discovering promising indie developers to publishing and global service. By combining Wemade Max’s in-house development and global service capabilities with Redbrick House’s expertise in indie game publishing, they aim to secure competitive new IPs and contribute to revitalizing the domestic and international indie game ecosystems.

Son Myeon-seok, CEO of Wemade Max, stated, “Wemade Max is building a sustainable growth structure based on a multi-studio system across various genres and platforms.” He added, “Starting with this collaboration with Red Brick House, we will work with creative developers to discover new games and IPs and continuously expand our competitive portfolio in the global market.”

Kim Hyuk-jin and Hong Ji-cheol, co-CEOs of Red Brick House, said, “This partnership will serve as a foundation enabling more indie developers to pursue game development and enter the global market with stability.” They added, “Based on the capabilities and experience of both companies, we will discover competitive games and actively support the global expansion of Korean indie games.”
