[E-Daily Reporter Park Jung-Soo ] #LSK iRobot, a company specializing in AI and robot vision, announced on the 14th that it had redeemed 1.65 billion won out of the 6 billion won total face value of its 8th Series private convertible bonds (CBs). The final conversion price of the 8th Series CB, reflecting a stock split, is 2,764 won. This redemption eliminated approximately 596,961 shares of potential convertible shares, thereby reducing the risk of future equity dilution and overhang. Following the redemption, the outstanding face value of the 8th Series CB decreased from 6 billion won to 4.35 billion won. Consequently, the number of shares eligible for conversion also fell from approximately 2,170,767 to approximately 1,573,806, further alleviating the potential dilution burden. On the 8th, LSK iRobot also repurchased and canceled the entire 3 billion won of its 11th Series CB prior to maturity. Combined with this partial redemption of the 8th Series CB, the company is gradually reducing its previously issued mezzanine debt. The company explained that it is utilizing approximately 17.2 billion won in cash liquidity secured through the recent sale of non-core assets to reduce the potential conversion volume and strengthen financial soundness without resorting to external borrowing or further equity dilution. Based on this, the company plans to secure investment capacity to expand its AI and robotics businesses. LSK iRobot recently completed its name change and has begun a full-scale restructuring of its business as a company specializing in AI and robot vision. Centered on Onetouch AI, which it recently acquired, the company plans to advance its industrial vision AI algorithms and robot control technologies to expand its AI and robotics businesses. An LSK iRobot official stated, “Since the name change, we have continued our efforts to improve our financial structure and enhance corporate value,” adding, “Based on the secured liquidity, we plan to fully pursue new AI and robotics businesses—such as the advancement of Onetouch AI’s industrial vision AI algorithms and the development of robot control modules—to strengthen our foundation for mid- to long-term growth.”
