The company plans to establish a new Battery Pack Solutions Team and expand R&D investment to target the advanced industrial battery market, including drones and robots. Its strategy is to develop battery packs incorporating thermal management, lightweight design, fast-charging, and long-life technologies to meet the growing demand for high-power, high-density batteries. SM BEXEL CO.,LTD. plans to sequentially introduce customized battery packs suitable for industrial drones, robot vacuums, serving robots, and humanoid robots by combining proven high-performance cells with its proprietary battery pack design and manufacturing technologies, as well as a smart BMS. A smart BMS is a system that analyzes voltage, temperature, state of charge (SOC), and state of health (SOH) in real time to detect abnormalities and control output; the company plans to enhance battery life and safety by integrating thermal management technology with high-safety packaging designs. Currently, SM BEXEL CO.,LTD. is conducting research on high-energy-density lithium-ion batteries and developing battery packs for industrial and defense drones; it plans to expand its scope of application to the robotics and humanoid sectors in the future and establish a mass production system.
