LG HelloVision announced on the 15th that it has published the “2025–2026 Sustainability Report,” which details its key ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) achievements and current status for 2025 and the first half of 2026.
To prepare this report, LG HelloVision defined stakeholders—including employees, customers, the government, the media, and local communities—into seven major groups and conducted a “double materiality assessment.” The five key issues selected through this process are: △ information security and customer data protection; △ customer satisfaction; △ ethical and compliant management; △ community engagement; and △ climate change response.
In particular, under the slogan “A Sustainable Tomorrow Connected by Media and Telecommunications,” this report highlights the company’s AI-driven win-win initiatives and achievements in value creation.
Internally, the company is actively fostering an “AX (Artificial Intelligence Transformation)” organizational culture by expanding practical applications such as hosting in-house Agent AI hackathons, providing AI training for employees, and analyzing customer inquiries using AI.
Externally, the company has dedicated efforts to bridging social gaps through technology. It supported initiatives such as operating “AI Digital Classrooms” for small business owners, providing AI education to multicultural families, and distributing content to enhance digital literacy among seniors. Furthermore, the company received the “2025 Minister of the Interior and Safety Daesang” in recognition of its achievements in educating youth on preventing the negative effects of AI.
The company has also demonstrated the social impact of its locally-based content. LG HelloVision’s official YouTube channel, HelloLife, surpassed 1 million subscribers and achieved the distinction of being the first paid broadcasting platform in Korea to receive YouTube’s “Gold Button.”
Achievements in the areas of Environment (E) and Governance (G) are also notable. While launching internal and external campaigns to address the climate crisis, the company continues to produce biodiversity conservation programs based on public-private partnerships, contributing to the preservation of local ecosystems. Furthermore, it has further strengthened its risk management framework by maintaining its Occupational Health and Safety Management System (ISO 45001) certification and obtaining the Information Security and Personal Information Protection Management System (ISMS-P) certification.
Lim Seong-won, Head of the Public Relations and External Cooperation Center at LG HelloVision (Senior Managing Director), stated, “Amid a rapidly changing media environment, including the proliferation of AI technology, we will continue to pursue effective ESG management practices alongside our business growth.”
