Obigo Inc. will form a consortium with security specialist M-Secure to carry out the project titled “Establishment of an Intelligent Supply Chain Security Model for Embedding Automotive Software Security.” This project focuses on addressing security blind spots in the automotive software supply chain resulting from the proliferation of software-defined vehicles (SDVs).
The consortium plans to develop a domestically produced on-premises security system that minimizes the risk of external data leaks and to apply technologies for the automatic extraction of automotive-specific SBOMs (Software Bill of Materials) and the automatic generation of VEX (Vulnerability Exploitation Potential) reports. It will also establish a security response system featuring automatic patching and verification functions upon threat detection.
Through this project, Obigo Inc. aims to complete security validation for “PixSeries,” its automotive AI content platform set for global launch, and strengthen its competitiveness in securing overseas contracts by addressing global automotive security regulations, such as mandatory SBOM submissions in the U.S. and Europe.
Hwang Do-yeon, CEO of Obigo Inc., stated, “We will establish an intelligent automotive supply chain security model aligned with global standards to enhance platform reliability and accelerate the global expansion of our AI content platform.”
