On the 14th, their agency, HYBE
and
Geffen Records, announced via the fan communication platform Weverse, “After discussions with Lexi regarding the group’s future activities, we have mutually agreed to part ways.”
They added, “Lexi has concluded her activities as a member of Saint Satin and as an artist under HYBE and Geffen Records,” and stated, “We sincerely wish Lexi the best in her future endeavors.”
Saint Satin is the second joint girl group launched by HYBE and Geffen Records in the U.S., following CAT’S EYE.
Lexi (Sweden), Emily (U.S.), and Samara (Brazil)—who were selected through the audition program *The Debut: Dream Academy*, which also selected Cat’s Eye—along with Sakura (Japan), the first-place winner of the Japanese OTT platform ABEMA’s audition program *World Scout: The Final Piece*, were chosen as members of the group.
Following Lexi’s departure, Saint Satin has been reorganized as a trio. HYBE announced last May, “Saint Satin is aiming to debut in the second half of this year and will begin preparing for their activities.”
