SM announced on the 15th, “We have signed contract renewals with all members of NCT 127.” NCT 127, a sub-unit of SM’s boy group brand NCT, debuted in July 2016. They adopted “127”—representing the longitude of Seoul, the “home of K-pop”—as their group name and have connected with fans around the world. Their representative songs include “Hero” (“Kick It”), “Cherry Bomb,” and “Fact Check.” SM explained, “We have finalized the contract renewal based on the strong teamwork built over the years and the deep trust between the group and our company.” The agency added, “Amid the passionate support and love from fans, NCT 127 has established itself as an artist representing K-pop. We thank the members and fans who have shared this dazzling journey with us,” and stated, “We will continue to fully support NCT 127’s activities and remain a steadfast partner.” NCT 127 will make a comeback with their seventh full-length album on the 24th of next month. Promotions for this album will proceed as a five-member group, excluding Do-young and Jung-woo, who are currently serving in the military.
