Cafe24 Corp.(042000)[Edaily Reporter Lee So-Hyun ] The number of brands using Cafe24 Corp.’s seven-day-a-week delivery service, “Cafe24 Daily Delivery,” has increased more than 22-fold just one year after its launch. It appears that brands operating their own online stores have also secured a competitive edge in weekend and holiday deliveries without needing separate logistics infrastructure, leading to an increase in new customers and order volume.

Global e-commerce platform Cafe24 Corp. announced on the 16th that the number of brands using “Cafe24 Daily Delivery”—a service supporting seven-day-a-week shipping for direct-to-consumer (D2C) brands—has increased more than 22-fold just one year after its launch.

Cafe24 Corp. Daily Delivery is a fulfillment service that enables D2C brands to operate a 7-day-a-week, 365-day-a-year shipping system. When brands pre-stock their products with Cafe24 Corp.’s partner logistics companies, orders are shipped immediately upon receipt—even on weekends and public holidays. The company explains that this allows independent online stores to achieve the same level of delivery competitiveness as major e-commerce platforms. Depending on their operational strategy, brands can also choose from various delivery options, such as Daily Delivery, Same-Day Delivery, and Early Morning Delivery.

This growth trend is also reflected in the metrics. Since the launch of Daily Delivery, the number of participating brands has increased by an average of over 30% per month. Monthly shipment volume has grown approximately ninefold compared to the service’s early days, and the cumulative number of shipments over the past year has exceeded 2.73 million.

The adoption of the service has also translated into sales results. A comparison of pre- and post-adoption performance for brands that have used Daily Delivery for at least three months showed improvements in all six key metrics: order volume, average lead time, conversion rate, new customers, weekday orders, and weekend orders. The number of new customers increased by 31.4%, and total order volume rose by 21.7%. The average shipping lead time was reduced by 16.9%. Weekend orders also rose by 21.2%, indicating that orders—which had previously been concentrated on weekdays—have now expanded to include weekends.

Cafe24 Corp. analyzed that the competitive edge provided by fast delivery boosted overall sales performance, including customer acquisition, purchase conversion, and order growth.

Service satisfaction was also high. Brands that adopted Daily Delivery have a retention rate of over 99% and a churn rate of 0.2% or less.

The service structure, which lowers the barrier to adoption, is also cited as a key factor in this growth. Daily Delivery can be implemented simply by applying for a partnered logistics provider’s service through Cafe24 Corp. and selecting the desired delivery method—without the need for separate development or complex system integration. Brands can selectively outsource only specific products rather than their entire inventory, allowing them to launch the service while maintaining their existing operational processes.

It also offers features that allow brands to leverage the delivery experience as a competitive advantage. Products for sale can display badges that intuitively convey delivery information, such as “Ships Today,” “Arrives Tomorrow,” and “Daily Delivery.” Brands can also customize badge designs and delivery names to integrate the delivery experience into their brand identity.

Choi Hye-jin, CEO of the beauty brand Dimap, said, “We introduced Daily Delivery after noting that about 30% of all orders are placed between 6:00 p.m. and midnight, and about 20% occur on weekends.” She added, “We plan to provide consumers with the experience of receiving their orders the very next day and make non-stop weekend delivery a signature feature of our brand.”

Cafe24 Corp. operates its daily delivery service through a system that allows merchants to freely choose their logistics provider without prioritizing any specific company. It currently partners with seven logistics providers: CJ LOGISTICS, Fastbox, Pastro, Pumgo, WeKeep, Argo, and OurBox. The service supports both ambient and refrigerated delivery, enabling merchants to handle a wide range of product categories, including food and beauty.

Cafe24 Corp. plans to continue expanding its network of logistics partners to help merchants select the logistics provider that best suits their business environment. Additionally, the company intends to enhance the service by leveraging the order and shipment data accumulated through “Daily Delivery” to improve delivery operational efficiency and support demand forecasting and inventory management optimization.

Lee Jae-seok, CEO of Cafe24 Corp., said, “Daily Delivery goes beyond a simple delivery service; it helps online store owners not miss out on sales opportunities even on weekends.” He added, “We will continue to develop the service so that business owners can secure a competitive edge in delivery without the burden of building their own logistics infrastructure.”
