Enhanced Return Convenience Starting in August Through Automatic Pickup and Integrated Return Centers
[Edaily Reporter Lee So-Hyun ] Naver (NAVER(035420)) is expanding the delivery time slots and product categories for its Smart Store “N Delivery” service. This will reduce the logistics burden on sellers and allow users to access a wider range of products available for early morning and Sunday delivery.

NAVER announced that it will launch an open beta service for its new fulfillment solution, “N Delivery by NAVER (Fulfillment by NAVER·N Delivery FBN),” starting on the 16th.
N Delivery FBN is a service in which Naver supports the fulfillment process—including inventory management, exchanges and returns, and customer service—that occurs after sellers deliver their products to a logistics center. The actual storage, order fulfillment, and delivery of products are handled by logistics companies within the Naver Fulfillment Alliance (NFA).
Sellers can use the fulfillment service through Naver without having to sign separate contracts with logistics providers or integrate their systems. The company explains that since inventory, shipping, and return information can all be viewed in one place, this reduces logistics operating costs and the administrative burden.
The introduction of N Delivery FBN is seen as a strategy by Naver to lower the barriers to logistics for Smart Store sellers while simultaneously enhancing the last-mile experience for users. As major platforms like Coupang increase user lock-in by emphasizing fast delivery, Naver plans to boost its e-commerce competitiveness by leveraging its seller ecosystem to enhance early-morning and weekend delivery options, as well as return convenience.
Naver anticipates that even small-scale sellers lacking logistics expertise or operational experience will be able to more easily utilize fulfillment services through N Delivery FBN.
From the user’s perspective, the variety of Smart Store products available via N Delivery will expand. While the existing N Delivery service focused primarily on same-day and next-day delivery, products from sellers using N Delivery FBN can now be received via early morning and Sunday delivery as well.
The product range is also expected to expand beyond daily necessities to include fresh foods, health foods, and products for infants and children.
Return convenience will also be enhanced. Starting this August, for N Delivery FBN products, a dedicated courier will automatically pick up items without users having to select a pickup method or return address.
Collected items will undergo inspection and return processing at a dedicated integrated return center. The company plans to provide a faster and more convenient return experience than before through this system.
A Naver official stated, “Going forward, we plan to combine our experience in operating logistics platforms, data analysis technology, and the specialized capabilities of NFA logistics companies to provide a more accurate and reliable delivery experience.”
