According to his agency, JYP Entertainment, on the 16th, Park Jin-young will release a single featuring “WET” on the 23rd. “WET” is Park Jin-young’s first new song in eight months, following the release of “Happy Hour” (Commute Home), a duet with Kwon Jin-ah, last November. Regarding the new song, the agency emphasized, “This is Park Jin-young’s first summer song in six years since ‘When We Disco.’” This new song has been selected as the main theme song for the music festival “Waterbomb 2026” (Waterbomb). Park Jin-young will perform at “Waterbomb” again this year, following his appearance last year. Previously, Park Jin-young drew attention last year when he appeared on the “Waterbomb” stage wearing a hot pink vinyl outfit. In a video recently posted on the “Waterbomb” YouTube channel, Park Jin-young teased, “This year’s outfit will stand out even more than last year’s.” While introducing the new song “Wet,” he described it as “a reggae-ton track that goes well with summer.” The “Waterbomb” concert featuring Park Jin-young will take place from the 24th to the 26th at the KINTEX Outdoor Global Stage.
