Previously, Ki-an84 and Gangnam appeared together on the YouTube show “Neighborhood Friend Kang Nami,” where they performed Japanese singer Miki Matsubara’s “Stay With Me.” The video garnered over 7 million views and became a hot topic, which served as the catalyst for the creation of this duet. “Chicken and Her” is a song for which Ki-an 84 personally contributed to the lyrics, while Gangnam lent his expertise in production and composition. AOMG described it as “a city pop track that blends a retro yet upbeat sound with a refreshing vibe,” adding, “The highlight is the two artists’ candid emotions as they sing about their innocent youth.” Meanwhile, Ki-an 84 is a regular cast member on the MBC variety show “I Live Alone.” Previously, he released songs such as “Dandelion” and “Tornado” through the MBC variety show “Since I Was Born, Music Week.”
