According to their agency, Starship Entertainment, on the 16th, IVE has been officially invited to attend the game between the New York Mets and the Los Angeles Dodgers, which will take place on the 26th (local time) at Citi Field in New York City. Member Jang Won-young will take the mound as the ceremonial first-pitch thrower. She is also scheduled to film special content alongside Korean baseball legends Kim Byung-hyun and Dustin Nipper.
This visit once again demonstrates IVE’s global influence as they continue their activities in North America. Following the expansion of their international presence through last year’s “Lollapalooza Chicago” and their first world tour, IVE is currently meeting fans around the world—including in North America—with their second world tour, “SHOW WHAT I AM.” Their North American tour was exclusively unveiled via Billboard, and in March, they continued their local activities with an appearance on Fox 11’s “Good Day LA.”
