According to the Good Data Corporation’s FunDex chart on the 17th, “Heart Signal 5” ranked 3rd in “TV Non-Drama Buzz” and 5th in “TV-OTT Non-Drama Buzz” for the second week of July. This marks its seventh consecutive week in the top 5 for buzz, and the show also set a new all-time high for its buzz score.
Its strong performance was also evident in detailed metrics. It took first place in the “TV Tuesday Non-Drama” category for seven consecutive weeks and maintained the top spot in the “TV-OTT Non-Drama Search Response” category for the sixth week in a row. It ranked second in the “Netizen Response (VON)” category and third in the “Video” category, while cast members Kang Yu-kyung and Park Woo-yeol ranked sixth and seventh, respectively, in the “Cast Buzz” rankings.
Interest levels were evenly distributed across age groups. The show ranked first in interest among viewers in their 20s and 40s, and second among those in their teens and 30s, securing a broad viewership base. It also received the highest level of interest from female viewers, further proving the program’s popularity.
Recent episodes also contributed to the rise in buzz. The episode aired on the 14th featured the housemates’ final official dates, just one day before the final selection. In particular, the scene where Park Woo-yeol and Kang Yu-kyung confirmed their feelings for each other by saying “I like you” during their date in Gunsan sparked significant buzz on online communities and social media immediately after the broadcast.
With the final selection approaching, all eyes are on whether “Heart Signal 5” will once again break its own buzz records in its final episode. The finale will air on the 21st at 10 p.m.
