[Edaily Starin YUN GI BACK Reporter] KBS2’s “The Seasons—Sung Si-kyung’s Boyfriend for the Ears” will fill Friday night with performances that transcend genres and generations. Artists ranging from Lee So-ra to Crush, Kwon Jin-ah, and Tomorrow X Together’s Yeonjun—each with their own distinct musical styles—will appear to deliver special performances. Lee So-ra (Photo = KBS “Sung Si-kyung’s Ear Candy”) On the episode airing on the 17th, Lee So-ra will perform her new song “I’ll Forget Every Detail of Your Face” for the first time—her first release in seven years. She will also personally reveal the background behind commissioning Jannabi to work on the song and the creative process. Jannabi will send a video message of support, and Lee So-ra will reinterpret Jannabi’s “She” in her own unique style, as if in response. She also plans to share some lighthearted banter by revisiting a past anecdote where she once described Sung Si-kyung as “looking like a kitchen countertop.” Kwon Jin-ah sheds her image as a ballad singer and transforms into a rocker. Not only will she debut the stage performance of her new song, but she’ll also showcase her explosive vocal prowess by passionately performing the technically challenging track “She’s Gone.” She’ll also reprise her “Like Jenny” cover performance—which was a major talking point at her concert—and reveal the efforts she put into the stage, including hiring choreographer Honey J and 14 dancers. Crush will be the featured guest in the “Two People” segment, teaming up with Sung Si-kyung. The two will convey their emotions by singing Echo’s “Happy Me” together and will even perform an impromptu duet of “Beautiful.” Crush will also continue his set of hit songs by performing a live version of “Hate,” which has recently gained renewed attention through short-form videos. Sung Si-kyung, who has long been a fan of Crush, promises future musical collaborations with him, creating a special chemistry between them. Yeon-jun gets the crowd fired up with an opening performance that begins in the audience. Reflecting on his days as a “Big Hit Legendary Trainee,” he recalls, “I persevered with the mindset that if I didn’t make it, I’d have to enlist in the military.” He is also set to perform the song that first earned him recognition for his talent before his debut—a broadcast premiere. He then teams up with Sung Si-kyung for the “Ice Cream” challenge and heats up the venue with a special event involving the audience. “The Seasons—Sung Si-kyung’s Boyfriend for Your Ears” airs on the 17th at 11:30 p.m.
