Park Seo-jin recently participated in the recording of the 2026 King of Kings tournament for the KBS 2TV music variety show “Immortal Songs.”
During the recording, Park Seo-jin caught the attention of the cast with her slightly fuller cheeks. In response, Park Seo-jin revealed, “I was dieting really hard, but then I fell into a cheating spree. I gained 11 kg in just five months.” She continued, “My company’s director promised that if I win the King of Kings Tournament, he’ll treat me to cosmetic procedures and a recovery vacation,” adding, “I absolutely must win the King of Kings Trophy,” which sparked laughter on set with her unwavering determination.

Park Seo-jin chose Fire Truck’s “Last Night’s Story” as her competition song. “I’ve prepared a performance unlike anything I’ve ever shown on ‘Immortal Songs,’” she said, before taking the stage with her so-called “ice percussion performance.” Park Seo-jin delighted the audience with a performance that blended his signature rich vocals and lively janggu rhythms with a dynamic ice percussion routine. After watching the performance, Young Tak expressed his admiration, saying, “Seeing Park Seo-jin play the janggu reminded me of ATEEZ’s Choi San, who’s been making headlines lately.”
The “Immortal Songs” 2026 King of Kings Special will air in two parts on the 18th and 25th. Participants in the recording included Park Seo-jin, Rin x Jo Jazz, Min Woo-hyuk x Jo Hyung-kyun x Yuria, K.Will, Kim Dong-jun x Young Tak, B1A4, Forestella, Hwang Min-ho x Lee Soo-yeon, Liberante, and Nex-G.
