“Answer.” is OurR’s first full-length album, released eight years after their debut. It consists of a total of 12 tracks, including the title track “I’m Just a Prickly Mold.”
The title track, “I’m Just a Prickly Mold,” expresses the desire to break free from anxiety and self-loathing while yearning for a new life.
Among the tracks, “Dive” and “Hold My” feature Japanese musicians REJAY and Sora Hokimoto, respectively.
Previously, Awol established a unique musical world by expressing emotions such as wandering and confusion, as well as frustration and despair, through her mini-albums *I* and *can’t*. This album features songs centered on the theme of searching for the right answer amidst chaotic circumstances.
Her agency, MPMG Music, stated, “‘Answer’ is the album that follows ‘I’ and ‘can’t’ and concludes the trilogy,” adding, “Awol has used music to tell the story of the countless choices faced by imperfect human beings.”
Awol is hosting a listening event at the ‘Song Record Room’ in Daeheung-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, through the 26th. On the 26th, she will meet fans at ‘Oasis III,’ a performance held at Gorani Special Forces in Sangsu-dong, Mapo-gu, featuring singer-songwriter Shim Jae-hyun, with whom she has maintained a connection since her debut.
