With advance ticket sales reaching the highest rate in the series’ history ten days before its release and topping the overall advance ticket sales rankings, all eyes are on whether the “Tom-Spidey” (Tom Holland’s Spider-Man) phenomenon will continue.

According to the Korean Film Council’s integrated computer network on the 20th, “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” recorded 235,757 advance tickets as of 8 a.m. that day, overtaking “Hope” to claim the top spot in overall advance ticket sales.
Previously, “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” experienced a minor hiccup when advance ticket sales opened and then closed at some theaters before the Film Rating Board had completed its review. This figure surpasses those of “Spider-Man: Homecoming” (approximately 70,000 tickets two days before release), “Spider-Man: Far From Home” (130,000 tickets three days before release), and “Spider-Man: No Way Home” (140,000 tickets seven days before release).
