[Edaily Reporter Hyera Lee ] HanWool Semiconductor hit the daily price limit early in the trading session.
According to MP Doctor on the 20th, WINTEC Co.,Ltd.(320000)was trading at 17,000 won as of 9:29 a.m. that day, up 29.97% from the previous trading day.
This surge in buying interest is believed to be driven by news that HanWool Semiconductor has completed the development of an artificial intelligence (AI)-based 100% inspection system for multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs) and has begun discussions with global clients regarding mass production and supply.
HanWool Semiconductor’s system is regarded as an AI-based manufacturing platform capable of transforming MLCC production methods, going beyond simple inspection equipment. While “sampling inspection”—which checks only a portion of the production—was common in the past, demand for “100% inspection,” which examines the entire batch of produced products, is currently on the rise. The company stated that it developed the platform in response to industry demand.
A HanWool Semiconductor official said, “In the AI era, quality reliability—not just speed—is becoming an even more critical competitive advantage,” adding, “We plan to accelerate our expansion into the global market by evolving the platform into a next-generation physical AI platform that goes beyond simple inspection equipment to realize AI-based manufacturing innovation.”
