[Edaily Starin KIM HYUNSIK Reporter] 143 Entertainment announced on the 20th that it has appointed Koji Masai, a Korean-Japanese businessman, as its first chairman.

143 Entertainment is the agency representing the boy group iKON and the girl group Maydin. Creative Farm, led by Chairman Koji Masai, operates Masai Holdings, an entertainment intellectual property (IP) investment company.
143 Entertainment explained, “Chairman Koji Masai has developed various businesses based on real estate investments, and while continuously investing in the entertainment industry, he has shown interest in expanding Korean artists’ activities in Japan and cultural projects.”
143 Entertainment also announced that it has signed a strategic investment agreement with Creative Farm. Based on this agreement, the company plans to expand its artist IP portfolio, including the launch of new groups.
143 Entertainment added, “We plan to sequentially launch new boy groups and girl groups in the future and strive to expand our portfolio by recruiting competitive, high-profile artists.”
