iA, Inc. to Jointly Develop Korean-Style AI Server with KTNF
Memorandum of Understanding Signed for Commercialization of NeoCube Dedicated Server Standard Model

[Edaily Marketin Kwon so hyun Reporter] iA, Inc.(038880)and its subsidiary, iA, Inc., are partnering with domestic server manufacturer KTNF to jointly develop Korean-made AI servers and small-scale data centers. Through this initiative, the companies aim to reduce their reliance on overseas manufacturers and Taiwanese contract-manufactured products.
iA, Inc., IA Cloud, and KTNF announced on the 20th that they recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to jointly develop domestically produced AI servers for iA Group’s small-scale AI data center platform, “NeoCube.”

Through this collaboration, the three companies will pursue the following initiatives: ▲ joint development of domestically produced AI servers; ▲ development of AI servers equipped with domestically produced AI semiconductors (NPUs); ▲ establishment of a standard server model dedicated to NeoCube; and ▲ expansion of domestic and international business operations.
KTNF will handle server design and manufacturing, while iA, Inc. will be responsible for cloud operating software. Based on this, iA, Inc. plans to build an AI infrastructure that integrates domestically produced AI semiconductors, servers, and software into a single system.
Until now, the domestic AI server market has been highly dependent on overseas manufacturers and products from Taiwanese original design manufacturers (ODMs). The three companies plan to move beyond simply importing foreign hardware and instead integrate and validate domestically produced AI semiconductors, components, and cloud software within Korea to establish a Korean-style server system capable of providing customer-tailored designs and technical support. They expect this will enhance supply stability and maintenance responsiveness.
The jointly developed AI servers will be deployed at the NeoCube demonstration complexes to be established in Hwaseong this August and in Gwangju this October. After verifying performance and operational stability at these sites, the companies plan to expand their business into sectors such as public services, defense, manufacturing, and bio-healthcare.
An iA, Inc. official stated, “Following our recent collaboration with FuriosaAI to secure an inference infrastructure based on a domestically produced neural processing unit (NPU), we have now established a Korean-style server and appliance system with KTCorporation capable of reliably supporting this infrastructure.” The official added, “Based on the pilot projects in Hwaseong and Gwangju, we will expand our joint business ventures to include the public, defense, manufacturing, and bio-healthcare sectors, as well as the overseas sovereign AI market.”
