This marks Identity’s highest-ever first-week sales figure. Previously, Identity recorded 336,000 copies with “unevermet,” released in August of last year, and 431,377 copies with “yesweare,” released this past January. First-week sales refer to the number of albums sold during the first week following an album’s release. In the K-pop industry, this figure serves as an indicator of the size of the group’s dedicated fanbase, which purchases albums quickly. Identity is gradually revealing its members one by one ahead of their full 24-member debut. “It’s Not Over” is an album released with a 20-member lineup, featuring a total of seven tracks, including the title track “Kids Return.” The title track “Kids Return” is a hip-hop track conveying the message that “the boys have joined forces and returned.” Since their comeback, Identity has performed “Kids Return” as a large-group act on various music programs—including KBS 2TV’s “Music Bank,” MBC’s “Show! Music Core,” and SBS’s “Inkigayo”—leaving a strong impression on K-pop fans both in Korea and abroad.
