Kim San-ha is a traditional Korean music-based crossover singer who majored in pansori at Ewha Womans University’s Department of Korean Music. She has appeared on numerous music competition programs, including MBC’s “Pyeon-ae Junggye,” KBS 2TV’s “Trot National Sports Festival,” MBN’s “Active Singer 1,” and TV Chosun’s “Miss Trot 4,” connecting with viewers. She made a name for herself by placing in the top 10 on “Miss Trot 4,” which concluded last March. “Please Hold Me” is her new single, released six years after her July 2020 track “A Girl’s Diary.” An agency representative stated, “It’s a ballad trot song centered on the theme of heartbreak,” adding, “Kim San-ha delicately conveyed the song’s emotional arc—which deepens as it progresses—with her uniquely rich voice.” The representative continued, “Following the release of the track, Kim San-ha plans to engage in various activities, including busking performances with a traditional Korean music band,” and asked for the public’s support.
